In September 2007, JoAnn Duncan joined the MSL Investment team as principle and property management director for MSL Real Estate Services.  Bringing to the table more than 20 years experience in the commercial real estate industry, Ms Duncan and her team are responsible for the management of both MSL Investment clients and MSL Real Estate Services clients.

Over the course of her career, Ms Duncan has successfully managed in excess of 6 million square feet of retail, office and industrial space in San Antonio and its surrounding areas. Building on existing long-term relationships with owners and tenants, Ms Duncan had more than 708,000 square feet under management within thirty days of starting the new MSL division. 

Prior to joining MSL, Ms Duncan was employed as director of property management at Birnbaum Property Company in San Antonio where she managed 1.5 million square feet of commercial real estate property.  Before that, she was regional asset manager at Cencor Realty Services, responsible for the management, accounting and maintenance functions of the largest retail/industrial portfolio in the company, totaling in excess of 1.8 million square feet of space.

As a testament to the strength of her integrity, passion and work, her property management team has remained in tact for more than 16 years. In her new role with her established team, she continues to provide highly responsive, thorough client services, to ensure a property meets its financial performance expectations.
